In 2022, Ellicott City will celebrate it's bicentennial and the St. Paul parish family has been a part of the history of our beloved old town since the beginning, though the church building was established in 1838. We have opened our doors to care for Civil War soldiers in the 1860's, educated children since our school was founded in 1922 (expanding to a new, bigger school on the outskirts of town in 1966), shelter the homeless during our annual Cold Weather Shelter, and form individuals and families of christian disciples spanning 3 centuries!
The worship space has been improved and renovated and restored to accommodate our growing parish family. With the addition of the Center for New Evangelization, St. Paul continues to provide for the spiritual formation and growth of our community, providing opportunities for our parish to grow closer to the Lord and one another, invigorated to live with faith and joy in an ever-changing world.
